Sweetbriar Engineering (SBE) is a Private Sector Affiliate (PSA) of the Rebel Alliance (RA). Any attempts to purchase Datacard uses by or on the behalf of any factions or individuals designated as Enemies of the Rebel Alliance will result in no Datacard assignment (or revocation of assigned Datacards after the discovery of such deceptive activities) and immediate blacklisting of any parties involved. No refunds of credits from orders attempted by or for Enemies will be processed under any circumstances.

As a PSA of the Rebel Alliance, RA citizens are eligible for a 30% discount on any Datacard rentals from Sweetbriar engineering. Confirmation of citizenship via an active Rebel Alliance Communications Center account is required to apply a citizenship discount. Allied factions of the Rebel Alliance (as well as any members thereof) are eligible for a 10% discount on any Datacard Rentals from SBE. Please note RA citizenship or alliance in both order instructions and credit events to ensure that the proper discount is applied.

Sweetbriar Engineering is a member of the Galactic Technology Exchange Collective (GTEC), a neutral and independent trade collective comprising members of various faction groups and alliances. Any member factions of GTEC may reach out to SBE owner Aeron Llywelyn Rees or SBE COO Fred Python for access to SBE Datacard rentals without the need for purchase.

Payment for any orders of Datacard technology must be made in full to Sweetbriar Engineering before an order will be processed. To ensure accurate processing of any orders, please include the facility or station type(s) and ID(s) as well as any special requests (e.g. requesting an unlimited use Datacard assignment, or noting any eligible discounts) in both the order instructions and any credit messages, and to ensure quick processing please also send a direct message in either Darkness or on Discord to Fred Python after payment has been submitted.

Sweetbriar Engineering will not offer refunds on Datacards in the event of purchaser error or deciding not to use any purchased technology, under any conditions.

Should Sweetbriar Engineering err in any way in the assignment of Datacard uses, customers may contact SBE for assistance. We will reassign any Datacard uses which we had incorrectly assigned at no charge, or should a customer choose instead to cancel their order due to SBE error we will offer a refund of 75% of the original price of any cancelled datacard uses.

Should a customer need a Datacard reassignment from its originally assigned facility or station for any reason other than error on the part of Sweetbriar Engineering, we will accommodate the assignment of any remaining uses to a new facility or station in exchange for a fee equal to 25% of the price of said Datacard uses, capped at 2 million credits per type of Datacard to be reassigned per station or facility.

Any uses of Datacard technologies rented from SBE which are expended prior to a reassignment request will not be assigned to a new location without the new purchase of such uses. This includes the event of purchaser error, in which the purchaser provides an incorrect facility or station ID whose operator utilizes one or more of the purchased uses prior to the purchaser's request for reassignment.

Any valid purchases of Sweetbriar Engineering Datacard rentals will be honored without time limit, except in the the event that SBE chooses or is forced to cease carriage of a Datacard technology. SBE does reserve the right to cease the carriage of a Datacard technology at any time, though efforts are made to ensure that such changes are rare. In the event of a planned loss of a Datacard, good-faith efforts will be made to ensure that outstanding customers will be able to make full use of their purchased Datacard uses before the revocation of said uses, though we can not guarantee that such will always be possible. For those who would be unable to fully utilize any purchased Datacards prior to revocation due to the loss of the technology by SBE, see below.

Refund terms in the event of Datacard Revocation due to the loss of technology by Sweetbriar Engineering:
* Unlimited Use rentals, 0-30 Days After Assignment- Customers are eligible for a full refund.
* Limited Use rentals, 0-30 Days After Assignment- Customers are eligible for a full refund on any outstanding uses.
* Unlimited Use rentals, 31-90 Days After Assignment- Customers are eligible for a 66% refund.
* Unlimited Use rentals, 91-180 Days After Assignment- Customers are eligible for a 50% refund.
* Unlimited Use rentals, 181-365 Days After Assignment- Customers are eligible for a 33% refund.
* Limited Use rentals, 31-365 Days After Assignment- Customers are eligible for a 75% refund on any outstanding uses.
* Any rentals, >365 Days After Assignment- No refunds will be honored.
